Chance and I met in the most casual way, through my former business storefront, North Myrtle Nutrition. He stopped in one day for a protein shake, said maybe five words total, and left. I remember turning to my best friend and co-owner, Hanna, and joking that he didn’t seem to have much personality. As it turns out, first impressions aren’t always the full story.

Chance kept coming back, slowly opening up, and before long the three of us became friends over protein shakes and tea bombs. When Hanna and I began alternating workdays, she quickly noticed that Chance somehow managed to come in only on the days I was there. She picked up on his crush immediately… I, on the other hand, was completely oblivious. When Chance finally asked me out, I was surprised but so excited! He had already become one of my favorite people without me even realizing it.

Our first date was dinner at Roca Roja in North Myrtle Beach, followed by ice cream at Melt. Our second “date” was even more unexpected! On the Fourth of July, both of our families coincidentally set up on the beach right next to each other. We spent the entire day together and watched fireworks that night, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. Chance asked me to be his girlfriend on July 16, 2024, and just over a year later, on September 11, 2025, he asked me to be his wife. We fell in love quickly and deeply... when you know, you know. We’re so excited to begin this next chapter together as husband and wife!
